Dear future mamma

I created Trimester Zero because I was tired of seeing women over 35 shamed for wanting more before motherhood.

Maybe you've been told you're having a “geriatric pregnancy.”
Maybe you’ve been made to feel like you waited too long, or that your age makes a healthy pregnancy impossible.
 
That’s a lie. And I’m here to help you rewrite the story.

You didn’t do it wrong by building your career, finding yourself, or waiting for the right relationship. I didn’t either.

I backpacked the world.
 Lived it up in NYC.
 Moved across the country.
 And when a relationship ended at 40, I made a decision — I was going to freeze my eggs.

I walked into the fertility center with confidence. I was ready. But God had other plans… and apparently, those plans included strengthening that confidence by testing it — hard.

One hormone level was off the charts.
It led to a brain MRI.
They suspected an aneurysm.
And just like that, my fertility journey paused.

Being told to wait at 40 can feel like a devastating sentence. But I chose to use that time to my advantage.

Over the next 7 months, I turned my life into a laboratory of healing.
 
I used food as medicine.
I swapped every product in my home — from plastic containers to nail polish.
I committed, fully.

And when it was finally time to retrieve my eggs?

100% of them froze.
Not one lost.

My doctor called me her miracle patient.

But it wasn’t a miracle.
It was intentional preparation.
