Two years into my business, I was overbooked and burnt-out. Thankfully I turned it all around, and now I go hard into leadership, marketing and systems — so business can feel just as easy for you, too.
Take it from me when I left corporate, I thought I got this entrepreneurship thing down. I did, until I didn’t.
Two years into my business was headed towards burnout because of my overbooked business. ($100k of new revenue in 35 days.) Online I was trying to portray this image of an “it girl” but behind the scenes I couldn't even get myself to the gym or remember to drink enough water.
I doubled down on strategy. Invested in a team. Attempted to outsource. Things looked a bit shiner on the outside but underneath I was still peddling my feet.
I’d try to catch my breath by disappearing from social media or avoiding strategic plans in favor of “going with the flow.” I anxiously worried about disappointing clients, not delegating because “I can do it better” and had a huge gap between what I said I wanted to do and what I actually did.
A business in the $3-$8k range can tolerate poor self leadership, but only a SecureCEO will lead a business to scale, and sustain it. --you’re in it for the long game too amirite?
This is when I took the tools I’d been using for 10 years - eft tapping, somatic experiencing and visualization - and applied them with the attachment theory, the game changed.
Not just for me....But for my clients, too.
