The next week they found a brian aneurysm
and my whole world changed....
I've always had a complicated relationship with systems.- some might call me a rebel. In first grade, I was pulled out of regular classes and placed in a gifted program. I learned how to succeed within frameworks — but also how to think beyond them.
After college, i quickly climbed the corporate later, but 10 years in, I rejected the traditional path to backpack the world; eventually leaving to start my own consultancy.
I lived a full life before I started to think about motherhood - and I never made myself wrong for it. I thought I was the epitome of health, my mom had me at 39. Of course the same would apply for me.
But the brain aneurysm scare forced me to confront my health in a new way. The medical system identified the risk, but it didn’t offer a roadmap for optimization.
So I turned to a more holistic approach.
I changed my nutrition, lifestyle, and environment with precision and intention. When it came time for my egg retrieval, 100% of my eggs froze successfully — an outcome my doctor described as “their miracle patient.” That experience became my entry point into nutrition and biological optimization.
But I soon realized something deeper:
Just because you eat healthy doesn’t mean everything is fine.
Despite being a lifelong overachiever and doing “all the right things,” I still felt off — low energy, brain fog, subtle burnout, hormonal shifts. Like many high-functioning women, I assumed this was just what happens in your late 30s and early 40s.
Until I ran deeper functional labs.
What I uncovered — thyroid dysfunction, adrenal depletion, mineral deficiencies, heavy metals, toxin burden — were root causes no traditional system had tested for, yet they explained nearly everything I was experiencing.
I still respect systems.
I just no longer believe they tell the whole truth.
The testing, answers, and solutions I offer exist outside the conventional system - but they are informed by it. I don’t reject structure; I refine it. I don’t abandon science; I expand it.
I help women who have outgrown guesswork reclaim agency over their bodies with data, intuition, and root-cause strategy.

"We're planning for a baby, except I was waking up exhausted. Clumps of my hair were falling out. My doctor suggested iron infusions. Jackie showed me what was really happening in my body, and how to address it for good."
